The Studio Theatre seeks a qualified individual for this 30-year-old not-for-profit arts organization.
Responsibilities:
House Manager
For each performance, the House Manager is responsible for:
The venue maintenance, training/supervising volunteer ushers, training/supervising Assistant and Associate House Managers, and expert coordination between Stage Management, Box Office Management and patrons, while balancing multiple deadlines and priorities and maintaining the highest level of performance and preserving the values of the theatre and performance.
Negotiate multi-layer schedule, maximizing limited time and resources.
Routinely start all performances on time and exhibit the highest level of patron service.
Act as 504 Coordinator on accessibility and ADA issues.
Work with the Director of Audience Services and Special events on logistics of day to day operations and special events.
Volunteer Coordinator
The volunteer coordinator is responsible for:
Management of theatre volunteer needs in administration, production and house management.
Keep an up to date schedule of volunteers and their assignments.
Proofing all advertisements and promotional volunteer materials.
Maintain and maximize online recruitment utilizing social networking and service websites.
Other duties include: ledgering and maintaining a multi-layer budget, accounts receivables and payable for the department, coordination of licenses and necessary ADA, OSHA, ABRA, and Food Service documentation
This position requires the ability to stand for long periods and quickly traverse the 4 theatre complex.
Qualifications needed:
Theatre, arts, or non-profit background preferred.
Previous House Management experience.
Pervious management of venue and/or staff experience.
Excellent communication and logistics skills.
Excellent direct client service skills.
A working understanding of MS Windows and MS Office.
Ability to obtain a valid drivers license.
Ability to obtain an ABC Manager license.
Ability to react quickly in high pressure situations.
Special consideration will be given to candidates with:
ProVenue Max or Tessitura experience.
Food Handlers Certification.
Experience driving 10 passenger van.
Special Events experience.
Office 2007 experience/certification.

The Studio Theatre seeks a development professional to assist the Executive Director of Institutional Development in fundraising for this 30-year-old not-for-profit arts organization.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the Director of Institutional Development in all activities associated in development in each of the five fundraising areas (Individual, Foundation, Corporate, Government, Benefits); Cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors; Researching and identifying funding sources. The focus of this position is the identification, cultivation and development of individual donors
Will report to the Executive Director of Institutional Development, the Managing Director and the Founding Artistic Director.

The Studio is seeking a Subscriptions Manager/PR and Marketing Associate to provide customer service for season subscription audience, and assist with projects in the PR/Marketing department.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Processing subscription orders, overseeing ticket mailings, providing high-quality customer service; Assisting with editing and proofreading of all print and web materials; Coordination of all activities as relating to program ad sales; Providing assistance with other duties within the PR/Marketing department as necessary.
Will report to the Director of Communications.

Previous PR and Marketing experience.
Customer Service Experience Required.
Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills a must
Excellent organizational skills with focused attention to detail

The Studio is seeking a creative individual as Associate Literary Manager/Dramaturg.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assist directors and designers with research on plays; write program notes; oversee The Studio Theatre’s performance guides and newsletters; manage all activities of the Literary Department which includes reading and evaluating scripts; corresponding with playwrights and agents; soliciting scripts and responding to unsolicited scripts; contract negotiations.
Will report to the Founding Artistic Director and the Associate Producing Artistic Director.

Qualifications needed:
Dramaturgy experience necessary.
Strong writing skills a must, as the position also serves as staff writer.
Editing experience a plus.
Ability to juggle multiple projects important.
