To continue The Studio Theatre’s mission to ensure accessibility to the performing arts for the entire community and to promote public awareness of the role of the arts in the quality of life and economic development, our Arts Motivating Youth (AMY) program was created in 1991.

Passport to the Imagination

This program guides students and teachers in classroom study of lively contemporary plays, and then brings them to free performances at The Studio Theatre followed by discussions with educators and artists. Through this program, hundreds of youth study and attend free performance of plays that have a special relevance to their lives.

Youth on Stage

The Studio Theatre reserves slots in all young actors' classes for scholarship students who have an interest in the performing arts but lack financial resources to pursue training.
