STAGE COMBAT WORKSHOP
October 16 + 17
An introduction to the techniques of hand to hand combat which will prepare the actor to portray the illusion of violence. The use of basic weapons is also explored. The emphasis is on enhancing physical skill and confidence with a safe and realistic technique. This workshop is recommended for students of Shakespeare and Greek.

ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP

November 6 + 7
Through the Alexander Technique, actors can learn to recognize and prevent excess tension and unwanted movement patterns. These harmful habits get in the way of daily life as well as the way in which actors find character choices and execute performance.  A special workshop in the technique will be presented for one weekend only.

AUDITIONING WORKSHOP

December 11 + 12
A weekend workshop that provides the student with monologue coaching and resume review, also develops cold reading skills and introduces the student to the business of acting.
