    ASSISTANT HOUSE MANAGER

    Primary Responsibilities

    The Assistant House Manager (AHM) is a part time position. The AHM works scheduled shows, all special events and all opening nights under the direct supervision of the Audience Services Manager and the House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator. The AHM is generally agreed to work the entire season beginning September 1, 2010.

    The AHM assists the Audience Services Manager or House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator with the training of ushers, management of concessions and the starting of the show (all front of house duties). In general, there is one assistant per show. The AHM also empties trash and replenishes paper towels after shows/intermissions to ensure cleanliness for audience. The AHM will assist the Audience Services Manager and House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator with additional duties as assigned. AHM must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

    We are currently looking for the Thursday/Friday shift availability only.


    Qualifications:
    Experience preferred, but not required

    Ability to handle time sensitive, stressful environments

The AHMS is generally agreed to work an entire season on an as needed basis, as well as to attend mandatory meetings and opening night performances.

    The AHMS assists the Audience Services Manager or House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator with the training of ushers, management of concessions, the starting of the show and the running of special events (all front of house duties). In general, there is one assistant per show. The AHMS also empties trash and replenishes paper towels after shows/intermissions to ensure cleanliness for the audience. The AHMS will assist the Audience Services Manager and House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator with additional duties as assigned. AHMS must be available to work varying nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

    BOX OFFICE ASSISTANT

    The Studio Theatre seeks individuals available for day, evening, and/or weekends that will assist with all box office operations during the running of shows, and other shifts as necessary.  Operations include ticket sales and superior customer service at will-call windows and on the phones, accurate reporting of daily sales, subscription sales, and ticket exchanges. The job is “swing,” set up primarily as an on-call position  to fill in as needed and provide additional assistance in weeks of heavy sales and/or multiple shows running simultaneously. Seeking commitment through August 2010 at minimum.

     
    Will report to the Director of Ticket Operations and the Box Office Manager on duty.


    Qualifications needed:

    - A responsible and detail-oriented mindset.
    - Comfort with basic multi-tasking.
    - Experience in customer service.
    - Familiarity with Windows operating system.
    - Tessitura ticket software experience a plus.

    Subscription Sales Telemarketers - Outbound      

    Join The Studio Theatre's subscription telemarketing campaign. Excellent earning potential in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere. Comfort selling over the phones and meeting sales quotas required. Evening and weekend hours: Mon – Thurs, 6:00pm – 9:00pm; Sat 10:30am – 2:30pm; Sun 5:00pm – 9:00pm – associates work at least 4 of the 6 shifts with at least one weekend shift. Limited day shifts may also be available. Hourly base plus commission, bonuses and free tickets to the shows.
